Serving Brooklyn families since 2015, Foster Community provides children ages 4–13 (Grades K–6) with a safe, structured, and supportive environment where they can learn, grow, build confidence, and develop lifelong skills.

Monday–Friday | 2:30 PM–7:00 PM
A safe, structured, and supportive afterschool experience offering tutoring, mentorship, martial arts, chess, dance, and character development.
Summer Camp
Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM–5:00 PM
Registration Fee: $175
A fun and enriching summer experience featuring academic enrichment, mentorship, martial arts, chess, dance, arts & crafts, recreation, and special activities.

Meet Our Founder
Professor Franklin Foster, MBA
Founder • Educator • Mentor • Ninth Degree Black Belt
Born in Trinidad and Tobago, Professor Franklin Foster overcame a challenging childhood and found direction, discipline, and a sense of family through martial arts. The mentorship he received changed the course of his life and inspired his commitment to helping young people succeed.
After moving to the United States, Professor Foster pursued higher education and later earned his MBA. He founded Foster Community Development Center to give children access to the same structure, encouragement, mentorship, and opportunities that transformed his own life.
Today, his mission continues through programs that combine academics, mentorship, martial arts, chess, dance, and youth development to help children build confidence, focus, discipline, and strong social skills.
